Hi!
A week has passed since I left Miss L’Orfeo to her fate.
Differently than I wrote in the post before, the doll has been left in the Spitalfield Market, and not in Camden. As soon as I’ve abandoned her I saw some people looking at her … but I’ve closed the eye and went to the opposite direction not to see …
I’m still waiting for news from the new owner … so, if you are reading the blog, please leave here a comment or send me an email!

this is Erika in the early morning of october the 22th.
In a couple of hours I’ll check-in to reach London.
Try to imagine who is following me? Miss L’Orfeo, a new doll I’ve created for London.
Her name comes from a master-work of Monteverdi, an italian composer of 1600. Nothing to do with her look, of course, but I’ve listened the first part during her creation, and without other ideas I decided to choose it!
I think I’ll leave her in Camden on Sunday, so, if you are the new owner, and you’ve found her, don’t hesitate to send me info and photoes about her new travels!
I just want to say “thank you” to all my cats for their unreserved company during works!

as you could imagine, Mrs Tea Potter’s story had no happy end!
In fact after her amazing travel to Toronto we had no news about her 😦
But as a first experiment, I’d say that has been an excellent way to start with dollcrossing project, and at the same time, a good way to get in touch with other people, like Astrid and her sister!
Well, I didn’t want to give up my dream, for that reason I decide to continue let dolls travelling! I’m very glad to present you Mme Bonheur:
She has borned yesterday night in order to travel to Paris!
I don’t know exactly when she will be abandoned, but I’ve decide the place were to do it, and exactly the historical bookshop Shakespeare&Co.
Her name means Happiness, I’ve chosen it to share not only a doll but also a good wish.
This time there is also the blog as reference, so I hope the story will have success.
I want to say thank you again to Astrid and her sister for their cooperation and just say good luck to Mme Bonheur and her new future owner!

the story starts in Imola, small town of Italy, on april the 25th 2010.
Pencils and something to sew, a bit of imagination and Mrs Tea Potter has born.
About her future I didn’t know a lot, but the certain thing was that I had to give her to someone because I don’t use to keep my works.
So the first idea was to give her as a gift, and for that reason Mrs Tea Potter, this is my doll’s name, had her first travel to Vienna, in Austria.
Unexpectedly the chosen person wasn’t there and bringing back the doll with me seemed to be so sad that, excited of my holiday and beautiful things I was doing, I decided to leave her in a very cultural and cool place, the Museums Quartier.
This is me, saying goodbye to her.
After having seen Klimt, Schiele and other incredible artists, the only thing I wanted was to stay in contact with art and different cultures. The only way I had was to let my doll travel for me and meet people all over the world.
